Gold prices recorded a slight decrease in local markets in the capital, Baghdad, on Sunday.
In the wholesale markets, the selling price of one mithqal of 21-karat gold from the Gulf, Turkey, and Europe was recorded at 920,000 dinars, and the buying price was 916,000 dinars. Yesterday, Saturday, prices were recorded at 925,000 dinars. Meanwhile, the selling price of one mithqal of 21-karat Iraqi gold was 890,000 dinars, and the buying price was 886,000 dinars.
Regarding prices in goldsmith shops, the selling price of a mithqal of 21-karat Gulf gold ranged between 920,000 and 930,000 dinars, while the selling price of a mithqal of Iraqi gold ranged between 890,000 and 900,000 dinars.
